Elvet Estates are this week celebrating their first year in business. Established in May 2015 by Newtonian, Sean Lawless, their first year of business has ended with the company receiving two national accolades at the ESTAS Awards.
The event is unique in the industry, as all of the winners are decided solely on the basis of customer feedback.
Elvet Estates’ clients overwhelmingly gave the thumbs up as the team won a Gold ESTAS for Best Estate Agency in County Durham and a Silver for North East Estate Agency.
TV property expert Phil Spencer hosted the ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, which was attended more than 900 of the UK’s top agencies from the property industry.
Founder, Sean Lawless said: “We’re delighted that our newest venture, Elvet Estates, is receiving such positive feedback and has achieved two major accolades in its very first year of business.

It only takes one bad apple to reflect badly on the others so it’s crucial everyone provides the high quality service the customer expects and deserves.”
