A new exhibition in The Greenfield Gallery at Greenfield features “Patriot Art” by local artist John Palliser. John qualified in graphic design at Stevenage and studied in Plymouth, lecturing in Great Yarmouth, and has painted patriotic art, military scenes for over thirty years.
Whilst his work isn’t restricted to military subjects, his passion for this subject shines through every piece he painstakingly and lovingly produces, many paintings taking months of planning, research and effort to get the details absolutely correct.
John recently organised the Great North Arts and Culture show in August 2012, raising money for The North East Autism Society and Veterans At Ease. This exhibition will showcase a variety of John’s work. The Greenfield Gallery is open Monday to Thursday, 10am – 9pm and Fridays 10am – 4pm.
