Newton Aycliffe Youth Football Club Little Eagles boys development section has completed another very successful summer programme.

Despite being unable to get together for many months during lock down, the boys continued to practice at home, ready and waiting for the restart, which we were able to do at the start of August. The boys, aged between 4 and 6 years old, are all preparing for team football in our local leagues, with our qualified and experienced coaches.

As the winter approaches, the boys will move to more suitable facilities to ensure that their football development progresses.

The Little Eagles development section has produced new teams at Under 7 to start the league in February; under 6’s ready for friendlies, when allowed, but joining the league next season and our under 5’s, starting on their football adventure and continuing to develop the basic skills in a fun environment.

As well as the Little Eagles for boys, the club has the very popular Wildcats for girls aged between 4 and 8 years of age. Both these development sections will ensure that football for Newton Aycliffe Youth FC has a bright and sustainable future.
