Great Aycliffe Town Council would like to acknowledge all those local residents who have gone to a great deal of effort to decorate their properties this year for Christmas.
The Council asked local residents to nominate Christmas displays that stood out across the parish. Many nominations were received and the Council had the pleasure of viewing all the entries.
Some of the best entries can be seen at Elstob Close, Guthrum Place and West Cottages in School Aycliffe. However, the property which was judged to be the best in Aycliffe and also had the most nominations is located on Westmorland Way.
The Council would recommend readers have a look at the property when they are passing; can you do any better next year? If so, please watch out for the nominations next year.
