The Daz and Lee Sports Show on Aycliffe Radio on Tuesday 7th August were delighted to welcome special guests Sharon Darter and Lewis Wood who are both Gym Instructors from Lifestyle Fitness based at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre.
Sharon has worked in the gym for nine years and says that she has thoroughly enjoyed her time there and made many friends along the way. However she also said during Tuesday’s live show that she will soon be leaving to start a new job with the NHS and both Daz and Lee wish her all the very best in her new job.
Lewis previously worked at the Spennymoor Leisure Centre for about 7 years and transferred to his current full time role at Newton Aycliffe about 12 months ago. Lewis is hoping to complete the Great North Run, which is taking place on 9th September and despite one or two injury set backs, he’ll be looking to step up his training during the next five weeks and all at Aycliffe Radio wish him well on that adventure.
Daz and Lee’s Sports chat show is live every Tuesday at 6pm and repeated on Sundays at midday on Aycliffe Radio. There will however be no show on Tuesday 14th August due to holidays, but they will be back on Tuesday 21st August.
