The Weight Loss and Wellness Challenge for January 2014 is about to commence not at one venue but two venues this time. The Challenge takes the participants’ through a 12 week course, teaching them about different aspects of nutrition – related to weight loss.  One challenge which has been running since 2012 is held at Agnew Community Centre on a Thursday evening and provides an informal and friendly setting.  The next one is due to start on Thursday 9th January 2014 at 6.30pm nicely after the kids go back to school and we all return to our normal routine!  The other challenge starts the day after on Friday 10th January 2014 at 12.30pm at Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre.
As well as a weekly weigh in and a different topic of learning each week, every participant has a one to one appointment so that their specific nutrition and diet problems can be addressed.  As well as measuring weight, body fat % and hydration, we also look at muscle mass, visceral fat and bone mass which gives people the bigger picture of their bodies… not just the number on the scales! We also take measurements to gauge inch loss and this is monitored over the weeks so that participants get to see their statistics improving which really helps in terms of motivation and body composition.

The 12 week Weight Loss Challenge costs £39 to join.  The finishing prizes are based on percentage body weight lost and participants can win up to £300 (depending on number of participants joining the challenge!).
Participants from the latest challenge have all said that the support from Jules has been a massive help with them achieving their goals !!
Jules also offers 1:1 weight loss coaching for those that are unable to attend a class and this support is run from her home generally on a Monday afternoon and evening.
