A volunteer group in Newton Aycliffe is hosting its first Ladies Night to raise funds for Marie Curie. The Newton Aycliffe Fundraising Group will be holding the event at Moore Lane Sports Club in the town on Friday October 21, and local residents are invited to come along and take part enjoy the evening. Entertainment will be provided by female harmony group Quartz, and there will be a number of fundraising activities guests can take part in. The group support Marie Curie’s major fundraising campaigns such as the Great Daffodil Appeal and Blooming Great Tea Party, as well as promoting fundraising within the local community and encouraging new supporters to help the charity.
