Dear Editor,

Once again Teaching Assistants, have been let down by Labour County Councillors, putting politics before the people that elected them,

Labour voted to sack all Teaching Assistants which is very disappointing but not surprising to me that Labour County Councillors play politics with people’s lives rather than doing the right thing.

The opposition County Councillors are not always wrong and they did Vote against the new policy!

It is an insult to poorly paid hard working staff and I do hope someone challenges this as it badly effects the lives of 2,700 workers, some of whom only have this wage to live on. I wonder what the Labour members would do if there was a public vote to stop their attendance allowance?

Soon there will be a By Election and no doubt Labour members will be door knocking telling us just what they are going to do to get your votes, but when we need their help we just do not get it!

Mrs Maud Gray
