Well the weather didn’t stop KDANZ from wowing the crowds with a impromtu performance in Spennymoor town centre last month in the rain.
KDANZ are back in Newton Aycliffe to give the young people some fun for the summer holidays even if the sun never shines!! These holidays can be a long time for parents trying to find fun activities for children to do. Well KDANZ plan to create a whole dance show in just 24 hours!
The children will arrive at 7pm one day and sleepover in the Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre all with fully qualified staff. (there is unlikely to be much sleeping!)
They will be working hard learning dance moves, original choreography and songs. They will then snuggle down for a quiet DVD of the latest dance movies ready for an early start.
Costumes hair and makeup will be included so by the time 7pm the next day comes KDANZ and it’s sleepover crew will have produced a show to remember! How much more fun can you get than that!
Learn new dances to current songs from Kay and her dance teachers with the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and perform – what better way to spend your summer holidays!
There are two events planned: – Arrive Tuesday 14th August 7pm – Perform Wednesday 15th August 7pm or Arrive Wednesday 29th August 7pm – Perform Thursday 30th August 7pm. The cost of the whole exciting event is just £30 – less than a day’s child care!
This is open to anyone aged 8-16 years who has an interest in dance.
