For many years a Working Party has existed at St Michael’s Church, Heighington but more than 18 months ago, due to Covid rules and other factors such as the age profile of members, other commitments etc., the group reluctantly disbanded. It is hoped a new Working Party of volunteers might be formed who would be willing to assist with various activities in the church and around the parish. The work would not be time consuming nor onerous as duties could be shared depending on availability of those involved and a rota could be constructed by those willing to take part. There is much with which to be involved and your skills and talents would be most welcome. For instance, are you a natural organiser and enjoy fundraising? Do you have a creative flair or are you a techie genius? Do you enjoy baking? Then there is the choir and music group if you enjoy singing and/or play an instrument. And what about all you aspiring campanologists. Why not learn bell ringing. Oh, and one more thing, just because it’s church, we do not expect you to be a member, (although it would be great if you were) just enthusiastic.
