Staff at Bewick Crescent Surgery spent Friday 20th September wearing denim and baking cakes to raise money for Jeans for Genes Day 2019. It is the second year that the surgery has supported this cause and last year they managed to raise over £120. Jeans for Genes encourages people to wear denim and raise money to help children with genetic disorders. There are around 6000 different genetic disorders and it is estimated that 1 in 25 children is affected by this. Bewick Crescent Surgery wishes to thank everyone who has donated to this brilliant cause so far.
