Aycliffe Jazz Quartet ‘Acoustic Infusion’ are currently enjoying performing modern jazz standards to local audiences in the Newton Aycliffe and Darlington area.
The band members, all from the town, have played with many bands of different musical styles over the years but their passion for playing jazz standards from ‘The Great American Song Book’ brought them together recently with a successful and popular monthly jazz night at Woodham Golf and Country Club. Band members include Alan Thompson – Saxophone; Rick Laughlin – Keyboards; Bruce Rollo – Double Bass and Ian Halford – Drums.
Acoustic Infusion are next appearing at Woodham Golf Club on Thursday 6th June and The Forum Music Centre, Borough Road, Darlington on Thursday 20th June.
