Last week Greenfield welcomed another group of international visitors as part of their International Symposium of Teaching & Learning. Eleven colleagues from the Netherlands arrived  to find out about Greenfield Arts, Greenfield, SOLEs sessions and a language master class – it was certainly busy!
Other visitors that morning- a group from Sunnydale Community College and Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form college joined a group of Greenfield students for a masterclass in French, led by the QE students. This was a great experience for the GCSE students to learn from their AS level peers and they had a great time.
The Dutch visitors were impressed by Room 13 and SOLEs and had the chance to talk to Suneeta Kulkarni in India via Skype, talking about the ‘School in the Cloud’ project as a whole and what its like to be a Granny – hopefully soon there will be some new additions to the Granny cloud!
The group really enjoyed their time at Greenfield, and it was great to continue to develop this link with the Netherlands – Greenfield hope to be able to return the visit soon! Find out more about the International Symposium on blog: www.greenfieldarts.wordpress.com.
