The Hall Garth Hotel held a Supplier Showcase evening last Friday featuring local businesses who provide services to this popular venue. The weather was kind enough for the event to be held on the courtyard with background music provided by Harry Mears on clarinet.
Various tasty morsels were served made from ingredients of suppliers and wine from Bon Coeur of Melsonby. Cheeses and rare breed pork sausages were sampled, supplied by Parlour Made of Mordon. Bread was from Olivias Artisan Bakery with milk and cream from Acorn Dairy. Pam Henderson, the Manager, told Newton News the hotel was enjoying good patronage with full occupancy most of the time.
