A representative from Roc Solid is the guest speaker at this month’s meeting of Horndale Residents’ Association.
Roc Solid supply accommodation for young people and young families who come from various backgrounds and need support. Roc Solid gives them a chance to move on in their lives and become valued members of our society.
Please come to see the good and important work they do, in our community. This is a great opportunity for us to understand and ask questions about the  services they provide.
It has been nearly a year since we discussed supporting the local food bank which has fed 1,500 families with 6tons of food in the last year. This fantastic work by the volunteers at St. Clares is only possible due to the astounding generosity of the community. I wish to thank all those who have made our support possible,
I know things are tough but urge you please continue your support. I wish these appeals were not needed but the facts have to be faced to help the neediest in our community.
The meeting on Wednesday 5th February starts at 6pm with refreshments at 5.45pm followed with the PACT meeting.
Representatives from Livin, Police, councillors and street/park wardens will be in attendance to give reports and answer any concerns or problems you may have.
Please come along and help us to make your good neighbourhoods better places to live which is only possible by all working together.
Philip Clark, Chairman
