Heighington Under 8s travelled to Thirsk Falcons this week in the 2nd round of the league cup. The boys advanced to the next round with a dominant 9-1 victory, Captain and Man of the Match Joe Neild bagged 6, Jay Bulch netted a hat trick, whilst Tyler Woodward, Layton Collier and Thomas Graham all had fantastic games. Oliver Paylor in goal had little to do but kept concentration well throughout. The second game Heighington drew 1-1, the goal coming from Layton Collier. Huge positives from this game, with Maddox Harcus continuing his impressive form in goal, Tyler Gibbon and Harry Surman showed some lovely touches, Harvey Yale was back to his old self and Kenzie White put in a man of the match display.
Heighington u11s were at home in the Challenge Cup against division 2 side Trimdon. From when the whistle was blown it was obvious our boys were up for a win with two chances missed within the first 5 mins. The game was very fast paced and once the first goal went in, there was no stopping our boys resulting in a 9-1 win. Fantastic team work from all who played out of their skin.

Heighington Under 15’s were at home to Division 4, Whinney Banks in the Challenge Cup first round. The away side scored first after a scrappy start to the match, but the home side were soon level when Adam Scott scored.
There were further goals for Broden Forster and Ellis Plews. After half time the home side really stepped up there play and scored another 7 goals, conceding 2 themselves. Second half scorers were James Le Poidevin (2), Todd Steed (2), Adam Scott a further 2, and Captain Jamie Stapleton. MOM was Hat-trick hero Adam Scott
