Two young entertainers from Aycliffe are running The Broken Heart Metal Music Festival in aid of the British Heart Foundation on Saturday 22nd March at the Youth Centre, from noon till 11pm.
Tickets are £5 available from the Youth Centre and at the door on the day, but once all the tickets are sold the event will be full!
The festival is the brainchild of Evan Jones and Brian Lockey.  Evan is the lead singer of the band Shotgun Syndrome and Brian is the bassist.
They decided on BHF as Brian volunteers in the shop in the town and Evan lost his Nana (Ann Jones) at age 47 to heart problems.
All the bands are giving their time free and more information from shotgun syndrom/broken heart festival on facebook.
