The last in a series of trail races is taking place in County Durham next month.

People can take part in the event at Hamsterley Forest on Wednesday, July 17. The race starts at 6.15pm and participants must register on the day from 5.45pm.

Entrants must be at least 16 years old, and those under 18 will need to have their registration form signed by a parent or guardian.

There will be an entry fee of £3 and prizes for the winners will be awarded on the night.

Runners wishing to take part in the Hamsterley Forest 10k trail race should meet at the Grove Car Park, Hamsterley Forest, sign-posted off the A68 north of West Auckland.
