The students are keen to do well and their enthusiasm and aspirations are evident as they state their intentions. “We are the FBM team for 2017 – 2018 and we are entering the FBM competition to win and improve our business skills” said the students. The team is Emma Gelder, Ellie Green, Haden Harrison, Luke Aitken, Jasmine Beadle, Katie Longstaff, Emily Hanson and Ethan Berry. “We had a successful visit for the Day 2 Challenge, in which we won!.

Future Business Magnates is a business enterprise competition for schools and helps introduce students to the basics of starting and running a business and inspires enthusiasm and confidence, working in conjunction with local businesses.

The team has continued to polish up their business ideas with a trip to Beamish Museum to take part in a workshop exploring how businesses of the past have developed to respond to changes over time, an important feature in business today.

The FBM team at Greenfield is really hopeful for the future challenges in the competition and is looking forward to developing their business idea. We wish them the very best of luck.
