Greenfield Community College are busy working alongside primary school staff and Year 6 students to ensure a smooth and enjoyable transition as they become an integral part of the Greenfield Community.

#TransitionMission 2021 is being led by Assistant Headteacher Ms Davis who is supporting our new cohort by offering a range of activities and learning resources to support the move to secondary school. Students are finding out about the Greenfield learning attributes that will help them in the coming months and years and how they can learn creatively.

Students will find out more about the inspiring vision of the school and how they can ‘Try, Achieve and Inspire’ during their time at Greenfield. The students will focus on valuable attributes such as resilience, collaboration and kindness and how they can impact and support their self-led learning.

The current Year 6 students have recently been creating some amazing images of the school logo as a fun way to get involved and there are a number of videos and activities planned for the young people. Thank you to all of the students and staff of primary schools who are making this possible and supporting the move.
