The 5th Annual Men’s Singles Championship attracted an entry of youth and experience. Shaun Macintosh maintained his unbeaten record by winning the Open Event for the fourth year running. Joe Childs, playing in the event for the first time lost his first match but won the Plate Event. Both events were extremely competitive. The Club A Team finished the season in fourth place out of eight clubs in Cleveland League Group 4. The Club B Team also finished in fourth place out of seven clubs, the highest position they have achieved in Group 6.
The tennis facility has had an upgrade to the floodlights, which are now even brighter than before. It is possible to play throughout the winter on evenings and weekends.
