Greenfield Arts are sorry to say goodbye to an inspirational member of their community. Respected Floral Art tutor, Cynthia Scott, has been a constant presence at Greenfield since 1992 and has inspired a stream of participants to create fabulous floral displays encouraging students to become proficient and creative in their discipline.
Cynthia is very well respected in the world of floral art and has even been part of the team who decorated Westminster Abbey for the Wedding of Prince Andrew to Sarah Ferguson in 1986. Her enthusiasm and friendly manner have brought pleasure to the many participants at Greenfield Arts and to the staff who have appreciated her professionalism and inspirational attitude.
The floral art group has grown in confidence with many members returning every season to learn creatively and share ideas with expert guidance from Cynthia. The group have been inspired to further their creativity at Greenfield and are continuing to meet on a regular basis, a testament to Cynthia’s influence. The group meet up on selected Fridays and new members are welcome.
We wish Cynthia all the very best for her retirement and although her teaching has come to a close we look forward to seeing her at Greenfield Arts at events and activities in the future.
