Greenfield Arts are delighted to be part of ‘The Big Draw’ campaign and join the nation to celebrate creativity and drawing. This year the theme is ‘drawn to life’ and you can join us at Moore Lane Eco Centre, Newton Aycliffe to help us create an exciting piece of art.

The activity is free and you can drop in at any time during 10:30 – 15:00 to be part of a brilliant collaboration. Artist Vicky Holbrough will be on hand, with staff from Greenfield Arts, to help families think about their community, notice the beauty in the everyday and be inspired to draw and be part of a much bigger venture.

Katy Milne, Director of Arts and Creativity at Greenfield Arts is thrilled to be part of ‘The Big Draw’, the world’s largest drawing festival. “We are delighted to be part of this campaign” said Katy “it will be amazing to see the community come together with ideas and drawings that will culminate in a new artwork on the building at Moore Lane Eco Centre. We will be using recycled materials and diachronic film to create a new artwork on the windows of the Eco Centre building. We need lots of hands, lots of creative ideas and input from the extraordinary people in our community”.

Greenfield Arts are pleased to be working in partnership with Great Aycliffe Town Council to provide this creative opportunity.
