The Annual General Meeting of Great Aycliffe Town Council was held on Wednesday, 16th May 2018.
The newly elected Mayor for the 2018-2019 year is Councillor John Clark.
John thanked the Council for his appointment and announced that his nominated charity for his term of office would be the Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group.
Bob Fleming and Malcolm Iveson were appointed Leader and Deputy Leader respectively, Ian Gray remains Chair of Environment, and Jed Hillary became Chairman of the Recreation Committee.
Bob Fleming congratulated retiring Mayor Wendy Hillary on a very successful year.
