Dear Sir, I went to visit a friend at Bakewell Place last Wednesday to find the state of the grass outside his house a total mess thanks to the grass cutters whose heavy equipment got stuck in the soft wet ground. I can understand getting stuck, but if they cause damage it should be repaired! But there again who cuts grass in wet weather? Ian Dixon Newton News investigated and found the piece of ground affected belongs to Livin. The question is asked every year when damage is caused by grass cutting equipment and people wonder why the workers carry on regardless?
