In 1955 the Methodist Church moved to its present location at the corner of Greville Way & Neville Parade. In 1959 the building was extended by adding the large hall. In 1965 the building was extended further and this month we celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the third phase which is the present Church building.
On Friday 17th April we are hosting “An Evening With Adrian & Bridgett Plass”. This will start at 7.15pm and will be preceded by a Faith Supper from 6pm.
On Saturday 18th April we have a concert by the Durham Police Choir starting at 7pm. Tickets. On Sunday 19th April we have a Celebration Service led by Rev. Graham & Rev Emma Morgan at 10.30am. At 6pm there will be a “Songs of Praise” Celebration.
We extend a warm welcome to everyone to come along to one or all of the events, especially if you used to attend the Church in years gone by. We would love to see you again.
