Whitehouse Funeral Service, Newton Aycliffe have a Christmas Giving Tree placed in their reception from 1st December to 1st January each year. Families are sent out gift tags and asked to write a message of remembrance to their loved ones and hang it on our tree. All we ask is that they make a donation for the charity we have chosen – this year the collection was made in aid of Community Spirit Newton Aycliffe.
Amy and Kelly from Whitehouse Funeral Services presented a cheque for £100 to Russ and Leanne Gibson from Community Spirit Newton Aycliffe to contribute to the wonderful work they do within our community, helping those in need.
If you would like to receive a tag and contribute to our Giving Tree this year please feel free to pop into our office any time in December, as we would encourage anyone to take part, not just those families we have helped in the past.
