A woodland sculpture day will give crafty kids the chance to create their own masterpiece next weekend. Killhope: the North of England Lead Mining Museum will host the drop-in session between 12.30pm and 4.30pm on Sunday, 12 August. Youngsters will have the chance to use wood and sweepings from the woodland floor to make their own artwork.

Staff will be on hand to help and finished creations can be taken home or left to be put on display in the woods. Normal admission charges apply with an additional fee of £1 per child for the woodland sculpture session. For more information contact Killhope on 01388 537 505 or email info@killhope.org.uk
