Great Aycliffe & Middridge Partnership has two public representative vacancies on the partnership board.

This is an exciting opportunity for local residents from the partnership area (Great Aycliffe and Middridge), with a keen interest in the local community to join a dynamic and proactive board, who have successfully delivered a number of projects throughout the area since our formation in 2009.

The public representative role itself isn’t onerous; in terms of time commitments, there’s a requirement to attend a board meeting every two months, and preferably to have input to at least one of our Task & Finish Groups if you can, but really it’s about sharing your valuable local knowledge and being passionate about your community – helping to make a difference in our area.

To become a public representative on the board you must live, work, volunteer or study within the partnership area, and you must be over the age of 16.

Brian Riley, GAMP Coordinator, said; “The work of the partnership is driven by the support and enthusiasm of the Board. The public representative vacancies represent a good opportunity to become directly involved and make a difference in our local community.”
