Dear Sir, My name is Adele Lambert I am a member of the Freeman Heart and Lung Transplant Sports Team. We are part of the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and we have a sports team comprising of transplant patients from across the country who have all undergone a life saving Heart or Lung transplant at the Freeman. Each year we compete as a team at the British Transplant Games and we have been very successful in past years. On Sunday 9th of April I will be running a taster session for our team members at the Oakleaf Complex for them to have a go at Archery and Indoor Bowls, we have been sponsored for the event by Darlington company BIB Insurance Ltd.

I myself had a double lung transplant in September 2013 due to Cystic Fibrosis and since them I have taken up Archery with local club Aycliffe Archers and have won Gold and Silver Medals in the Sport as well as for Swimming all at the British Transplant Games. I would be interested to know if you would be able to do some sort of feature about our training event to try to promote organ donation and the other organisations that are helping to run the day. If you would like more information from me please contact me on the following numbers 01325 310905 or Mob 07852 154453
