Woodham Golf Club Director Neville Hall has kindly agreed to offer all under 14 year olds free golf membership using Golf Foundation support and is also inviting all schools in Aycliffe to attend sessions free of charge to learn to play golf at day coaching sessions.starting 30th May and 6th June for Primary School students and on 13th and 20th June for Secondary School students.
Golf Course Marketing Manager Samantha (centre) who is taking up golf herself, is keen to get involved with the juniors and will be assisting Chris Lawson the new Golf Club Junior Liaison Officer. Chris caught the golf bug when he took his son along for lessons. He is keen to see as many Aycliffe youngsters as possible take up the sport as it instils discipline and etiquette.
