Life Church (“Helping Hands”) wants to help people manage their budgets. They are about to run more free sessions to help people in Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas get on top of their household finances.
Members of Life Church in Newton Aycliffe wanted to help their local community to best handle the economic climate so underwent specialised training. Now they are offering the very easy to follow short course aimed at putting the joy back into money by teaching people how to chart their household income and take control of their expenditure.
Money Coach Lyndsey Nicolls, who will be leading the sessions said: “With households feeling the squeeze on their disposable income, we’ve all got to get a bit more clever with our money to get through these tough times. If you know how to save and budget effectively, it can have a hugely positive impact on the whole family.”
The course has been found to be useful for Helping Hands service users, newly retired people, soon-to-be students, mums dealing with mounting bills, families saving for a wedding and everyone in between.
She added: “We hope that we can help people, quietly and confidentially, take control rather than relying on guess work so they can plan for the future and weather the storm.”
The course takes place in our office in Newton Aycliffe, starting on 9th September 10am-12pm then 16th & concluding on 23rd September.
