Former Bar Manager at the George & Dragon in Heighington, Steve Metcalfe and his partner Lynda, have taken over the Fox & Hounds at Kirk Merrington.
Initial Developments Ltd approached the couple after spending over £200,000 on refurbishing the popular Pub and Restaurant which can accommodate over 100 diners.
Steve and Lynda have been in the Pub and Catering business all their working life and first met when they ran The Quaker House in Darlington for 15 years.
They will be offering good Pub Food all day starting with breakfast, early morning coffee, Light lunches and popular evening meals until 9pm from an extensive menu. Once a month the pub will be presenting live music featuring top local bands.
Sunday Lunch will be a speciality served in the bar/ restaurant and conservatory. Real Ale is available from six local breweries.
Customers old and new will be pleasantly surprised with the internal makeover of this popular country pub and restaurant. Steve and Lynda extend a warm welcome. See advertisement (right).
