After finishing a season of mixed results the Darlington 21st Allstars Under 9 junior football team have just returned from the Flamingoland Football Festival triumphant as the winners of the 2019 Yorkshire Cup.
The boys who are sponsored by local haulage company Fracks Transport Ltd and La Piazza restaurants finished the day on Saturday as the winners of their group.
The Sunday morning they were met with the first leg of the finals by a very talented group of boys from Liverpool who sadly beat them 2-1 but the Allstars fought back winning their last 2 remaining games which crowned them champions winning the Cup in a fantastic achievement and display of exceptional teamwork and a well deserved win.
