Greenfield Arts are excited to welcome artist in residence Bethan Maddocks who will be working with Greenfield Arts and our wider community to explore the idea of possibility, and create work for our exhibition ‘Finders, Seekers’. Bethan is a visual artist who often works with drawing and paper structure making and creates site specific ephemeral installations that engage audiences.

Bethan will be hosting drop-in sessions that will stimulate conversation, explore the idea of possibility, bring together a collection of creative exchanges and help produce an installation at The Greenfield Gallery. The first community session will be held on Monday 6 April from 13:30 – 15:00, all age groups are welcome and it is free of charge.

The residency will be an integral part of Greenfield Arts 20th birthday celebrations. Bethan will be working with students from Greenfield Community College, the Men’s Cree group and the wider community to stimulate creativity, questioning and curiosity.

The exhibition will run from Thursday 14 May – Wednesday 1 July and will include our birthday party event on 23 June.

Greenfield Arts provides opportunities to explore ideas and express ourselves by working with the wider community, young people and creative practitioners. Visit the website on www.greenfield-arts.co.uk to find out about our full programme and our creative spaces.
