“DAVID AND LISA”
The “Feel Good Film Show” at St Clare’s Church on Tuesday 10th September features the romantic comedy “David and Lisa” Starring Sidney Poitier, Brittany Murphy and Lukas Haas.
Two young people in a mental health facility; David . . . obsessive and fears touch; Lisa acts childishly, talks only in rhymes. Both know loneliness and terror. Not a romantic comedy; but moving, tender and heart-rending and beautiful. Everyone is welcome, please come and enjoy.
Tea and coffee are served at 1.00pm included in the £2.00 admission, the film starts at 1.15pm and a variety of chairs are provided for your comfort, and tables so that you can bring a spot of lunch to eat while you enjoy a great film in friendly company.
