The “Feel Good Film Show” at St Clare’s Church on Tuesday 18th July features  the 1962 film version of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD” Starring Gregory Peck. In the American deep south a black man is falsely accused of rape by a white woman.  Only one lawyer will take on the job of defending him and risk the wrath of racist neighbours. That is only part of the film though, in which Peck won a Best Actor Oscar award.
