On Friday 2nd November during half term Greenfield Community & Arts Centre hosted the AAP funded Creative Routes Film Festival.

Following a red carpet reception the young people introduced their short films, which were acted in and directed by the group working with a film maker during the summer holiday.

The project was kindly funded by GAMP AAP and allowed groups of young people from across Newton Aycliffe to learn more about film making and the process involved from storyboarding to filming and acting.

The Film Festival was a fantastic opportunity to show how creative and talented our young people are. We would like to thank the young people involved for all their hard work, to the facilitator Katy Banner and film maker Ben Race for their support and to all who attended the film festival for joining us in the celebration aspect of this project.
