An impressive £577.50 was raised on the day which will go to providing additional treats and outings for residents in the New Year.

The fair marked the start of Christmas festivities at the home which will see events happening throughout December including a Christmas-themed ‘Come Dine with Me’ for families and friends, carols from Stephenson Way and Vane Road Primary School, Christmas church services, trips out and Christmas parties.

Home Manager Nicola Wheatley Said: “We’d like to extend a big thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Christmas Fair. It was one of our busiest yet and it was so wonderful to see so many families, friends and people from the local community come along to support it. It was a great way to start our Christmas celebrations here at Rose Lodge.”
