The legendary Eddie & the Hot Rods are having a farewell tour of the UK and we a very pleased to have them perform at The Witham. They have toured Europe and the USA extensively over the years and performed at some of the big venues such as the 02 Arena. Their biggest hit was “Do Anything You Wanna Do” which still receives good airplay on national and local radio stations. Mojo Magazine lists them as being one of the 100 most influential bands.
Special Guests are the Bishop Auckland indie/ MOD band The Thieves, who will perform a mix of covers (that they have adapted to fit their own style) as well as their own songs, written by Frankie Dobson. The Thieves list Eddie & the Hot Rods as one of their most influential bands and Frankie Dobson will celebrate his 16th birthday the weekend of the show, what a great way to celebrate your birthday.
This gig enables The Witham to extend it’s offering of musical genres on offer, the intention being to draw a wider audience to the venue and extend it’s appeal to Teesdale and the surrounding areas.
I have attached a poster which has all the details of how tickets can be booked.
