Yes, we know we are not permitted to gather in large groups, but this is a new concept, which was first started in Germany . . . a DRIVE-IN RAVE.
Aycliffe Radio and ROF59 are planning a series of Drive-In experiences which will include possible events such as a 90s Rave; Soul Night; 80s Music; Live Jazz; Bands and others. These events will run from 7.00pm to 10.00pm on various dates to be announced.
There will obviously be limitations within the terms and conditions of entry, such as: cars only (no vans or SUVs); every person in the car must have their own seat; do not attend if you have experienced any Covid-19 symptoms in the previous 7 days.
Cars will be parked in a socially distanced way, which should enable the occupants to stand outside the car door and dance if they so wish.
Refreshments will be provided by ROF59 and delivered to your car, food orders can be placed via text message, which will be given out with a menu when you arrive on the evening.
