Greenfield Arts are delighted to announce their latest exhibition ‘Emergence’ by Alison Gargett. The exhibition is a vibrant collection of work that portrays the artist’s journey of experimentation and how this has launched Alison’s as an artist.
The exhibition will run from Thursday 11th October to Wednesday 31st October 2018 and there will be a special preview evening on Wednesday 10th October from 18:00 – 20:00.
The exhibition falls neatly into Greenfield’s ‘season of play’ as Alison experiments with all types of paint such as oils, acrylics, watercolours but also likes to use general household paints such as gloss, spray, chalk paint and enamels to find interesting textures, playfully exploring the physicality of painting and often using implements at hand to apply, move and remove paint.
This exciting collection of abstract and pictorial abstraction is on display in the Greenfield Gallery and should not be missed. We are open from 10 am – 9 pm Monday to Thursday (except bank holidays) and 10:00 – 16:00 Friday. Why not come along and see for yourself?
