On Monday 17th Little ACORNS held their annual Easter Egg Hunt, and even the wet Easter Sunday didn’t dampen their spirits with youngsters and parents turning out for a bit of fun to burn off some chocolate. The little ones loved hunting around in the grassy areas of West park looking for our plastic eggs that had been hidden (some a little too well) to exchange for chocolate ones. When they had found all the eggs they started with the races: egg and spoon, skipping rope, running, sack and piggy back racing going down a treat. The youngsters had the most fun watching the parent races where the competitive ones let their hair down. The hour flew by and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. A big thank you to the parent group
ACORN for supplying the funding for the event and to all those who turned up for the event.
