Harry and Jack West last weekend presented our Great North Air Ambulance Service with a cheque for £550.00 after completing their Mountain Biking Challenge in March.
The boys, who attend Woodham Burn Community Primary School, had set a target to ride 50 miles each to complete the challenge, but smashed that and completed a total of 200 miles during the month of March between them.
They were presented with their medals and certificates from Helen who works as the GNAAS Fundraising Coordinator. Harry and Jack have been invited to visit the Air Ambulance base and headquarters, once Covid-19 restrictions are relaxed and visiting is permitted.
