Dear Sir,
I was disgusted to watch a video of a one sided fight at Greenfield College of a young disabled boy being bullied, watched on by a number of children. Within 24 hours the video had gone viral with over 845k views.
The video initially posted by “New Age Origins” shows how the victim is taunted and set upon, with the perpetrator being encouraged by his pals, until a young man steps in and removes his friend from the situation.
As a parent of a child at the school, I would like to hear a statement from the school which should explain in detail how the incident is being dealt with and what methods will now be implemented to ensure this behaviour is not repeated. Hopefully the statement will be a little more detailed than “We do not tolerate bullying and all pupils involved will be dealt with accordingly”.
The victim Callum and his friend Adam should both be recognised for their actions. Well done guys.

“We are taking action in line with our policies against those who played a key part in this incident and we have also been in contact with the police.
“I would like to thank those who have contacted the school about this and wish to reassure parents and the wider community that we do not condone bullying or fighting at Greenfield Community College.”
