Councillors & Officers Invited

Great Aycliffe Residents’ Association has invited John Reed, County Council Head of Technical Services, to their next meeting, together with Cllr Brian Stephens, the Portfolio holder on the Cabinet, on the issue of removing lighting from the A167.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be on Thursday 19th March commencing at 7pm in  St Mary’s Church, opposite Tesco.
Our Police Commissioner, Ron Hogg, has been asked if he has any concerns over Durham County Council’s proposal to switch off and remove lights along the A167, specifically those running past Newton Aycliffe and it’s Business Park.
