It’s the 4th year of the ‘Joe Ewin Memorial’, the venue once again is The Turbinia, Newton Aycliffe. Doors open 10.30am, register £5 by 12.45pm, toe to oche by 1pm.
I am pleased to say that we are being sponsored by ‘Trident Taxi’s’ & ‘Heineken UK’, so we have £200 added to the men’s & £50 to the ladies prize fund, let’s see if we can have some new champions to take Keith Gowland and Carla Boyes crowns.
If there is enough time we will have another ‘Winner Takes All’ blind pairs competition. Raffles and fund raising will take place throughout the day with ALL the proceeds going to the ‘Wishing Well Club’ here in Aycliffe, a charity that was very close to Joe’s heart, and he was very involved with.
