Darlington continue their build up to the new season with two friendlies in the next three days.

Quakers head to West Yorkshire on Friday night, 12th July, to play Harrogate Town, from a division above them in the National League, on the back of an excellent performance in the 3-0 home defeat by Motherwell.

New Manager, Alun Armstrong, will give eight new signings an outing in that game, one of whom, midfielder Will Hatfield, was confirmed earlier this week.

Hatfield was at Guiseley last season and earned some FA Cup glory when he scored one of the goals that knocked Football League club Cambridge out in a televised game.

After Friday night, Quakers are at Northern League club Bishop Auckland on Monday 15th July, and then on Saturday 20th July are at Halifax Town.

Meanwhile, the club is holding an Open Day on Saturday 13th July at the Eastbourne Sports Complex. Admission to the event is free.

Fans will be able to chat to the manager and players, while the youngsters will be able to play on the 4G pitch, and take part in various activities such as a bouncy castle and slide. There will also be a licensed bar for the older fans.

The team will also be posing for its official team photo for the season, while fans who have paid to be included on the team picture (to boost the budget contributors), will also have their proud moment.
