Darlington now have three successive home games coming up as they try to climb into the top half of the table.
Quakers’ 1-0 win at Blyth last Saturday, courtesy of Stephen Thompson’s 90th goal on his 250th league start, put them 16th in the table, nine points above the relegation zone and six points below the top half.
They take on another former Football League club Southport this Saturday, and then on Wednesday tackle FA Trophy holders Brackley.
They don’t have a game on 23rd February because their scheduled opponents Telford are on FA Trophy duty, and then on 2nd March league leaders Chorley are the visitors.
Meanwhile, the club is looking forward to hosting its half term Soccer Camp next week, places are available by ringing 07903 3614570.
The club is also holding a talent ID day for its academy next Tuesday at Blackwell Meadows, details are available on academy@darlingtonfc.org.
And the club is also asking fans to choose next season’s strip from four alternatives.
