On Saturday 18th of April students from Macadam School of Dance were lucky to be chosen to have Tom Shilcock from “Can You Dance? attend their studio to give them a free 45min masterclass.
This was prior to the “Can you Dance” Convention on the 17th May at Newcastle University. This was a fantastic opportunity for the students as apart from being on the show Tom has danced with Cheryl Cole, Rhianna, Jessie J etc.
He taught a commercial routine which all students gave 100% effort in learning and performing. They are now all very excited to attend Can You Dance? in Newcastle.
Principal Diane said “I love all the new opportunities that are now available for students of dance. It used to be all based down south, but so much more is now coming up here so we like to take advantage of every opportunity”.
